Roll over: A shimmering, translucent wine.

Made from Chardonnay 67 %, Pinot Noir 33 %, Gosset Grand Millésime Brut is a wonderfully fresh and expressive first impression reveals an assortment of white fleshed fruit such as pear and peach which develops into notes of grapefruit, aniseed and liquorice. The lively attack is delightfully taut. The finely poised, full-bodied palate remains incredibly light, with every sip revealing notes of damson, mirabelle plum, and ever-present pear, followed by the citrus flavours of orange and pink grapefruit.  Sustained by a bold liveliness, the wine finishes satisfyingly with just a hint of salinity. Ideal to serve as an aperitif, this vintage is also the perfect companion to fish such as line-caught bass, skate, sole, and hake, accompanied by a citrus sauce. This pairing suggestion can also be extended to sushi or maki and generally any grilled firm-fleshed fish, accompanied by green asparagus or spinach.

The story of the GOSSET family begins over four centuries ago with the first official ancestor of the family line, Jean GOSSET (1484–1556). Following in his footsteps, sixteen generations, all born in Aÿ in Champagne, had a single ambition – to improve their terroir. At the end of the 20th century, the takeover by the Cointreau family sees GOSSET Champagne enter the highest echelons of the prestigious houses, both in France and abroad. A passion that from past to present has shaped the image and reputation of the oldest Wine House in the region, whose name today is synonymous with a guarantee of excellence for all connoisseurs of great champagnes.
